Why did you opt for Syncbox?
We converted to Syncbox a couple of projects back. As this project was a retro fit we needed to achieve two things. Elimination of “wall acne” & to hide tv cables for the client. When it comes to the installation of screens we can install them without the problems. Such as of bulking the brackets off to allow for the cabling.
What were the main issues with your previous installations without Syncbox?
As mentioned above in the ‘Why did you opt for Syncbox?’ & images attached. All my clients love the idea of condensing the amount of plates/ outlets on the wall to stop them pertrooding and creating an eye sore in any room. In addition to this, practically installing equipment was also a big issue.
How easy was Syncbox to install in comparison to the previous option?
Just about the same amount of time, if not slightly quicker. As a result of the items you can buy and get with Syncbox such as the manual. But anyone can buy the installation tools for a shorter task. One big advantage is specification on projects, with power and AV elements in the one unit, it makes for easy translation to other trades. The installation manual is clearly worded alongside the detailed visuals of how to fit Syncbox too.
What reaction did you receive from your client?
They were extremely impressed with how well Syncbox did its job. Plus it did what they wanted it to do in the first place. Which was, to hide tv cables and look stylish. They exclaimed it was: “Very slick”. And in conclusion, “Just what they were looking for.”
Most useful feature of Syncbox?
Finally recessing the cabling into the wall & hide TV cables. In addition to this, the style aspect of the product which is a massive bonus to the customer. Because Syncbox faded into the aesthetics of their room while providing useful technical support, managing cables.
